“Yoga is not about self-improvement, it is about self-acceptance.”

10th International Day of Yoga was celebrated on 21st June’ 2024 to highlight the necessity of yoga in the contemporary era.The young Bhavanites geared up to do yoga exercises with an eminent Yoga instructor, Dr. Priyanka Ghosh, the founder of Nitya Yoga Studio, who was invited to teach the invaluable benefits of practicing yoga and meditation daily, to keep the mind and body fit and healthy. The Principal, Shri Rajeev Kumar Singhal addressed the gathered assembly of students and teachers and urged everybody to adopt Yoga to reap its benefits. He also presented a memento to the distinguished instructor.

The students learnt many ‘asanas’, yoga exercises and the right postures to stretch their body and improve flexibility, focus and concentration. The importance of these ‘asanas’ was explained simultaneously. The one hour yoga session ended with all the students having learnt the advantages of daily practice of yoga and meditation to create a more peaceful and healthy lifestyle.
