On September 5th, 2023, Teacher’s Day was celebrated with a spectacular array of activities that underscored the importance of educators in our society. The highlight of the day was a mesmerizing cultural program organized by the students of grade XII, which included graceful dance performances, soulful songs, and inspirational speeches, all dedicated to honoring the tireless efforts of teachers. Additionally, students organized engaging games and activities specially designed for their teachers, allowing them to unwind and relish the festivities. Laughter and camaraderie filled the air as teachers actively participated in these fun-filled games.
The celebration also involved a heartfelt gesture from the students – handmade cards and sweet treats were presented to their mentors as tokens of appreciation for their invaluable guidance and support throughout the year. To add depth to the occasion, the Principal, Shri Rajeev Kumar Singhal delivered a brief but impactful speech, highlighting the life and teachings of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birthday is celebrated as Teachers’ Day. The Principal emphasized the significance of this day in recognizing the pivotal role teachers play in shaping the future of our nation and fostering a sense of gratitude and respect for educators among students.
